Unexpected Blessing from Unmerited Favour
Take five minutes to find a peaceful place, sit quietly, and listen…….
The very act of breathing, the provision of the very air we breathe, is a blessing, bestowed upon us by Grace, God’s Unmerited Favour.
Numbers 6:24-26 tells us of God’s promise of blessing upon the children on Israel, and on their children, and the children of their children, for generations to come. Those same blessings continue onto us, the children of those children, our children, and their children too! “Expected” blessing from God’s given promise.
But in this season, God is telling us to open our hearts to receive “unexpected” blessing, the blessings we don’t even know about, the blessing we haven’t even comprehended, the blessings that go beyond our own desires, into the desires that God our Father, has for us. The blessings that are far more abundant than anything we can ask or think, the blessings that are from His fullness, that surpass our understanding, the blessings from His Grace, from His unmerited Favour, the blessings that come from His presence, before us, beside us, around us and within us.
In this time of fasting, be sure and strong in spirit, knowing the God of Promises is with you, in all things, whatever your situation, whatever your circumstances, He is with you, in your coming and going, weeping and rejoicing, He is with you. And He is about to pour out an abundance of “unexpected” blessing!
Be in position, wait in surety, Expect the Unexpected and receive your blessings!
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
