The Storm That Was Sent To Break You

In Acts 27, the Apostle Paul was in one the most dangerous storms that would last over 14 days. During that time, the crew on the ship could not rest until they were in a place of safety.

But there is more to this event.

You see, it could have all been avoided if the Captain had listened to The Apostle Paul, whom the Holy Spirit had forewarned of a impending storm.

The scripture later tells us that God confirms through an Angel speaking to Paul and told him not to be afraid. Everyone will be saved. There are so many situations that are sent to cause a violent disturbance in our lives that are sent to break us, our families/community and the world. These storms do not come from God, although we can still learn important lessons to help us avoid premature death, hurt & other life changing problems.

Psalms 55:22

Reminds us that God is at hand and we are to

‘Cast our burdens on the Lord, and he shall sustain you: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.'

Psalms 32:6

"Therefore, let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; Surely, the rising waters will not reach them." Praise God!
