Time Out

I am so happy to share this life skill/tool with you as a active reminder of one of the most beautiful yet powerful requirements of Father God.

John 4:23-24

Jesus said, " but the hour is coming, and now is, when the true Worshippers will worship the Father In Spirit & Truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship him. God is spirit & those who worship him must worship in spirit & truth."

Are you counting yourself out of being a True Worshipper of God, thinking you are not perfect.

Jesus receives everyone who believes & comes to him.

The purpose of taking time out with God to Praise & Worship him, is to find or create a intimate space between you and the Lord often and compliment him through song, speech, fasting, reading his word or lifting our hands praising him for being a great God, rejoicing and exhalting over him. We do this just because of who he is, and he alone receives the glory, worship and praise.

When we reflect on what God has done in saving us from sin & death, giving us new life and focus, we do not have enough ways to thank him. But showing our gratitude to God is a must.

When we praise, we push back the darkness, we feel better, our strength renewed, we recieve a confidence boost as in Romans 8:31 states" If God is for us who can be against us". Therefore, we do not dread things happening, fearing the unknown.

God is a good father and protector.

In our scripture this week, John 4: 21-24 I find it interesting that Jesus reveals to the woman at the well, who he really is the Messiah, the savour of the world and tells her about a new way to live and be free if sin.

Jesus then reveals the master plan of equality for all Samaritans and Jews, which is to worship Father God in a new location, a new temple, that will be in Spirit & truth located inside each of us, as well as the physical temple, the church where we meet to worship & adore Christ.

Personal plans:

Show God that we love him with all our hearts souls and minds through making room to worship and praise him daily.

Be aware of the things that can separate us from the love of christ and our daily commitments to him. Make a list. Pray about them giving them over to God.

Ask God to nourish your garden of praise and worship. So that you bloom and your faith grows with more ideas of how to serve God and help others build a living beautiful space a temple that is Christ with us.

Prayer and fasting is a wonderful sacrifice to God and a tool to help us stay focused and unify us with other believers.

Can you think of other ideas we can share to broaden our time of Praise and worship with God?
