Chosen By God To Serve

To join the British army, you need to meet certain requirements. You age, health and nationality are included and will be checked as part of your application.

If you are between 12 and 18, you can join and become an army cadet.

To join the British army and become as soldier, you must be at least 16 years old. to age. All applicants must attend an assessment to see if the army is right for them, and if he/she is fit enough. So, to increase the chances of a successful assessment, applicants are encouraged to eat right; drink right and sleep right. The applicants running will be tested, to measure his/her aerobic capacity; which is essential for all military tasks and injury prevention. Throwing a 4kg medicine ball whilst sitting with your back against a wall, measures your upper-limb explosive strength. This is essential for the applicant to be able to perform many military tasks well. The mid-thigh pull measures lower- body strength, which is required for many everyday military tasks. Once chosen the soldier’s private life is no longer at the forefront. He or she will do as their commanding officer/s tell them to do. He or she will go where they are deployed. He or she must put their wife/husband/child/family/dog/cat/goldfish much further down their importance list. The British Army is actively engaged in operational duties across the globe.” The work they do ranges from peacekeeping to providing humanitarian aid; from enforcing anti-terrorism measures to helping combat the international drugs trade. (marmy.mod.uk/deployments.) To be in service for God, there are no age limits. Anyone, at any age, at any time can sign up by making a conscious commitment to believe that the resurrected Jesus came and died on the cross of Calvary for their sins, for mankind to be in right fellowship with God again. The war that Christians are in, is not so much a physical one, but a spiritual one. Why?, Because Satan is after as many souls as he can, to turn away, or live apart from God. Satan continues to war against God and his people. (until his sentence and punishment by God, is carried out.) Which is why the Christian must be kitted out with the armour of God; be able to resist temptation; learn to trust and obey God, Jesus Christ, and the darling Holy Spirit; by exercising faith and trust in His word, the Holy Bible. Prayer is another fantastic weapon along with the Holy Spirit and His fruit. This spiritual fruit will help the Christian soldier to be able to withstand all that the enemy (Satan) throws at him /or her. The fruit of the Holy Spirit will provide the Christian with all the spiritual nutriments and nourishment required, to deal with all that is sent to them, in their life time. Wherever the Christian man, woman, boy or girl is deployed to be a witness of Jesus, the Lord will not only be in battle with him or her, but He will also teach you how to be victorious, when you are faced with the fiery darts and wiles of the devil. In God’s army, even if you must spiritually (or physically) move them down your importance list, God still has their back, as well as yours.
