C H A N G E #2024

Whenever I was invited to a particular restaurant, I would always park our car in a particular place.

That spot was always available for several reasons:

1. It was evening, so there were no day time restrictions.

2. I would get there early enough to find it vacant.

3. It was close to the restaurant.

One day, I was invited to attend the same restaurant, during the day time.

Knowing I may not get the same parking place, I had to make changes, if I were to reach my goal.

The decision included leaving out earlier, as I would need to find a car park. I knew where one car park was, and that it required me to park the car, and walk a short distance to the restaurant. Whilst walking I noticed that there were two other car parks situated near the restaurant and that the restaurant itself had a full car park.

Change may require you to adjust your pace, so that you can see what you need to, to reach your goal. This may include slowing down, being still or immediately moving in a timely fashion, to avoid procrastination.

Change may cause you to feel fearful of the unknown. It s not what your familiar with. These fears soon start to dissolve as you navigate your way through unknown territory with Jehovah’s guidance.

In the Old Testament, Israel had been so used to serving the Egyptians, that when they were finally told they could leave and be free, they began to panic and became fearful, critical and argumentative. This grieved our Almighty God, but He chose not to abandon His chosen people.

If you have invited God to help you to make changes in your life, that will enable you to live in His purpose and will, know that He will help you make those changes.

After acknowledging that you need to change, just do it, in Jesus name! Begin to do and begin to be.

It’s that simple. For example, if your not a team player, find ways that you can be a part of a team (at home, work or school) and do it.
